### What it can and can't fix

Restoration refinishes the lens you already have — it isn't a replacement.
Surface oxidation, yellowing, and haze come right out. Lenses that are
cracked, deeply crazed, or fogged on the inside are beyond what polishing can
fix and will need replacement — we'll tell you honestly which yours is before
we start.

### Headlight restoration FAQ

Why do headlights fog or turn yellow?
Headlight lenses are polycarbonate with a thin protective coating. UV from the sun breaks that coating down over time and the plastic underneath oxidizes — which is what turns the lens cloudy or yellow. Restoration removes that damaged layer and reseals the lens.

How long does headlight restoration last?
It's backed by a 2-year warranty. How long the clarity holds depends on sun exposure and care, but the warranty has you covered.

Can every headlight be restored?
Most foggy or yellowed lenses restore beautifully. Lenses that are cracked or fogged on the inside need replacement instead — we'll check yours and tell you honestly before we start.

What's the difference between restoration and replacement?
Restoration refinishes your existing lens, which is far cheaper; replacement swaps the whole housing and is only needed when the lens is cracked or internally damaged.
